How to Use the Dog Wash Station
Your pup deserves a spa day, and our self-service dog wash station makes it super easy. Once you experience the convenience, you'll never go back to your bathtub!
First things first: keep your furry friend secure on their leash by hooking it next to the tub. Toss them a treat to make bath time feel like a party, not a chore.
Ready? Let's get started:
1. Brush Out Their Fur
Begin with a gentle brush to remove mats, burrs, and loose fur. A quick once-over means a cleaner, more effective bath.
2. Warm Up the Water
Turn on the water and find that sweet spot—warm and cosy, not scorching. While it heats up, grab your shampoo. Pro tip: cooler water works better for dogs with sensitive skin.
3. Soak and Lather
Get your pup nice and wet, then work in the shampoo. Stick to the neck down to keep water out of their eyes and ears—trust us, they'll thank you.
4. Rinse Thoroughly
Rinse away every last bit of shampoo. Leftover soap attracts dirt and can make your dog itchy. A gentle brush while rinsing helps get it all out.
5. Condition (Optional)
Conditioner isn't essential, but it's amazing for long-haired pups. Make sure to rinse it out completely.
6. Dry Time
At this point you'll understand why we recommend the water proof apron! They're going to give themselves a big shake. You can then use the towels to dry them or use the blow dryer—your choice. Go slow with the dryer; the noise can spook some dogs. Watch the heat settings and keep an eye on their comfort level.
7. Clean Up
Rinse the tub and remove any hair from the drain into the bin provided. Toss any used brushes in the container, give the floor a quick sweep, and pop any used towels in the laundry basket. Done!
